Iowa Department Of Corrections Asking For Public’s Help Finding An Work Release Escapee

An inmate on multiple charges has failed to report back after his work release yesterday (Monday). Andrew James Nielsen was convicted of burglary first degree in Webster County, Prohibited Acts- Manufacture, Delivery, Possession in Fayette County, and Voluntary Absence (Escape) in Polk and Webster counties, was admitted to the work release facility on March 6, but did not return to the Fort Dodge Residential Center. Nielsen is a 47-year-old white male, five feet nine inches tall and weighing 172 pounds. Anyone with any information or a siting of Nielsen should contact their local police department.
