A section of residents in the City of Arcadia have been placed under a boil advisory. Today (Wednesday) a crew working on the main water project hit a water line that was still active for town residents. Those affected will be along the East side of Division Street. Now that water has returned, residents living in that area will be placed under a boil order, meaning any water used for consumption must be boiled for at least two minutes before use until further notice. Showering, laundry, and basic cleaning can still be done without the need to boil. Repairs have been made to the water line and no other residents are affected and do not need to boil water.
