ISB Warns Of Recent Scam Attempts Targeting Customers

Iowa Savings Bank issued a notice this (Monday) morning concerning a recent scam attempt targeting some of its customers. According to ISB, staff were recently made aware of an individual calling bank patrons and falsely portraying themselves as a bank technician. During the call, the scammer pressures customers to provide their account information. Companies, especially banks, will never call and request personally identifiable information. When in doubt, don’t respond to questionable calls, texts, or emails, and contact the company directly using a verified phone number.
