The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is hosting a series of public town halls on the Iowa Solutions for Aging with Independence and Longevity (SAIL) projects, which includes a meeting in Carroll next week. On Friday, June 28, representatives from Iowa SAIL will be available from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at New Opportunities on Highway 30 in Carroll to discuss the program. SAIL was created to bring together government agencies, community partners, and non-profit organizations to address challenges related to aging faced by Iowans throughout their lifetimes. Iowans of all demographics are encouraged to participate. Six other town halls are scheduled, including two virtual ones. Details on those events and the SAIL program are included below.
