The Lake View Police Department is hosting a new annual community engagement event, allowing Lake View residents to meet the team and enjoy a sweet treat. Cone with the Cops will be this Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Houndini’s Soda Fountain in Lake View. The department’s new Chief of Police, George Athan, along with Assistant Chief Christian Leisinger, and Officers Colton Selk, Nels Olson, and K9 Officer Jimbo, will greet community members, answer questions, and offer the chance to get to know the officers. Again, the first annual Cone with the Cops will be this Sunday at Houndini’s Soda Fountain in Lake View from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
