Last Monday, Oct. 17, a routine traffic stop on Highway 71 near Carroll resulted in the arrest of an Omaha, Neb. man on drug charges. At approximately 7:19 p.m., a Carroll County Deputy pulled over a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica being driven by 34-year-old Ruot K. Chuol. During the stop, an Audubon K-9 unit indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Chuol was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
