The Carroll Fire Department invites the public to join them this weekend for an opportunity to catch a glimpse into firefighter training and operations with an open house. On Saturday, Sept. 21, the department will open the doors to the Carroll Fire Station on Bella Vista Drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for live demonstrations of mechanical extrication tools, station tours, games, prizes, and more. Carroll County Public Health staff will also be on hand for car seat safety checks on the final day of Child Passenger Safety Week. Again, the Carroll Fire Department open house will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
