Motorists on Highways 30 and 71 in Carroll should expect minor delays today (Friday) due to issues with traffic control lights at the intersection. According to Carroll Police Chief Brad Burke, an oversized load struck a post at the intersection, and some of the traffic lights will have to come down to be repaired. As a result, officials will need to close turning lanes to allow for the work. The repairs are expected to be completed yet today (Friday), but the lane closures could extend into Saturday if delays occur.
