The Carroll County Road Department is extending an existing road closure near Lanesboro into next week. County officials closed 110th Street between Walnut and Zephyr Avenues northeast of Lanesboro on Monday, Oct. 21, for a planned culvert replacement. The project was anticipated to wrap up by this (Friday) afternoon, but construction delays necessitate moving the end date to Monday, Oct. 28. The road is tentatively scheduled to reopen around 12 p.m. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes through the weekend.
