For Tuesday’s general election, voter turnout fell below 67 percent in Crawford County. Crawford County’s only contested race was for the Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) Board of Trustees, with the three open seats going to Amy Schultz, David Reisz, and Jon Schuttinga. The two open Crawford County Board of Supervisors seats will go to the two candidates appearing on the ballot, Jean Heiden and Ty Rosburg. Incumbent Terri Martens will retain her position as Crawford County Auditor, while Republican Roger Rasmussen won in an uncontested race to become the county’s next sheriff. Following the unofficial tally, 6,600 voters participated in Tuesday’s election of the 9,873 registered voters. All of the local election results are available online at www.carrollbroadcasting.com.
