During Monday’s meeting, the Carroll County Board of Supervisors will begin the early preparations for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 budget. The board convenes at the Carroll County Courthouse at 9 a.m. on Nov. 18. They open the proceedings with a report from County Engineer Zac Andersen concerning planned pavement widening and resurfacing projects for County Roads E26 and M66. Following routine inter-fund transfers and plat approvals, the supervisors will open a general discussion on the FY26 budget, where they will likely outline some of their goals for the new year, identify key capital projects, and identify potential savings. Following that, the board will discuss the individual committee assignments and determine who will serve on which boards. The board closes with over a half-dozen manure management annual updates, committee reports, and the first FY26 funding request from the Elderbridge Agency on Aging. The Monday, Nov. 18 meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. Links to the agenda and video are included below.
