The 100 People Who Care Sac County presented the Odebolt Fire Department with their first quarterly donation of 2025 last Sunday. The group of 28 individuals this time heard from a few non-profit organizations and their requests for funding. The Odebolt Fire Department was chosen to receive a donation of $2,800 for the purchase of specialized confined space rescue equipment, to ensure safe entry, rescue and exit in tight spaces. The 100 People Who Care Sac County has donated thousands of dollars to numerous non-profits, to continue assisting with services provided to Sac County residents. Those that are wishing to participate the group can attend the next meeting on April 13, at 4 p.m. at the Early United Methodist Church.
