CCMH radiology staff with the new CT machine
Crawford County Memorial Hospital’s (CCMH) new state-of-the-art Computed Tomography (CT) machine is now available to service patients with advanced imaging capabilities. The CCMH Board of Trustees approved this latest addition to the radiology department as a way to save patients from needing to travel long distances to receive high-quality imaging services. CEO and President of CCMH Erin Much says, “This upgrade reflects the CCMH Board’s dedication to ensuring all Crawford County residents and communities have access to advanced diagnostic tools close to home.” CCMH Director of Radiology Katie Tremel says, “The new CT machine features the newest imaging technology, allowing for vastly improved image clarity and reduced radiation exposure for our patients. It not only improves the quality of the imaging but also ensures a faster and more comfortable experience for patients. This means shorter scan times and quicker results, which can be critical for early diagnosis and treatment, by enhancing diagnostic capabilities, allowing our providers to detect and diagnose conditions with greater accuracy and efficiency.” The CT machine further promotes CCMH’s mission to provide convenient access to safe, high-quality, patient-centered healthcare by skilled and trusted professionals while exceeding customer expectations, and radiology staff look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care to patients with the newest, highly developed CT technology.
