Carroll Area FFA students hosted Iowa State University (ISU) President Dr. Wendy Wintersteen Monday afternoon, discussing the opportunities available to them in the agricultural field. Dr. Wintersteen was in the Carroll area, attending a Carroll Rotary luncheon at HUB 712. Carroll FFA Advisor Brady Eischeid says it was the perfect moment to invite the ISU President to the Ag building for a visit.
After a tour of the facility, Eischeid says Dr. Wintersteen spoke with students and answered a wide variety of questions.
Eischeid says the students gained useful information that will allow them to make choices after high school, regardless of what path they decide to take.
