Whiterock Conservancy in Coon Rapids will be hosting free tours of the Historic Garst Home Farm the first Saturday of every month. The public is welcome to join a Whiterock representative tell the story and history of how sustainable agriculture was promoted in the Coon Rapids community and the creation of one of Iowa’s only non-profit land trusts. Free tours are available the first Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with the next one scheduled for March 1. Private or group tours can also be scheduled by calling 712-790-8221 ext. 1.
