NORAD Ready To Track Santa’s Journey For 61st Year

The North American Aerospace Defense Command, known as NORAD, out of Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado, has finalized preparations for the 61st year of tracking Santa’s yuletide journey. Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 1, NORAD’s Track Santa website at www.noradsanta.org will be launched and features Santa’s North Pole village with a holiday countdown, games and activities. People from around the world are also able to track the big guy while they are on the go with apps available in Windows, Apple and Google Play stores. Then, beginning at 2:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Dec. 24, website visitors will see Santa getting ready for his flight.  At 6 a.m. on Christmas Eve, trackers worldwide will be able to speak with a live phone operator to get details about Santa’s whereabouts or email for his exact location. Live streaming video over various locations will be available throughout Christmas Eve, and in this technological age, Windows phone users can ask Cortana to locate Santa and OnStar subscribers can receive updates at the press of a button. The toll free number and email address to track Santa can be found below.
