The investigation into ATM thefts at People’s Trust and Savings Bank in Jefferson has been completed and authorities are seeking arrest warrants for 35-year-old Derek Eugene Ott of Jefferson for theft in the third degree, aggravated misdemeanors. Ott is alleged to have placed empty deposits into the ATM and then withdrew cash from his account on three separate dates, Jan. 4, 6 and 7. The total amount withdrawn was $500.
