An Exira man has been arrested after failing to abide by Iowa’s sex offender registry requirements. The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Juston Phillip Travis, of Exira at approximately 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning after an investigation into his place of residence. According to the sheriff’s office, Travis was living at an address different from the one listed on his offender registration. Travis was transported to the Audubon County Jail where he is currently being held on a $5,000 bond. He has been charged with failure to comply with Iowa sex offender registry requirement-second offense, a class D felony. An investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
