A Boone man was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after an assault was reported in the 600 block of Main Street in Scranton. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident that occurred at approximately 2:23 p.m. and arrested 24-year-old Daniel Knippel for third-degree harassment, trespassing and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
