The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office reports two individuals were charged on Tuesday in two separate incidents. Fifty-six-year-old David Scott Porter of Exira was arrested at approximately 7 p.m. and charged with harassment and fifth-degree criminal mischief. These charges stem from an investigation into an incident in the 100 block of East South Street in Exira. Porter was transported to the Audubon County jail, where he posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear before the magistrate on Thursday, Oct. 19. The second charges stem from an investigation into an estimated $900 in damages done to an Audubon Community School District laptop. A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, then transported to Juvenile Detention in Council Bluffs. That incident remains under investigation.
