The Jefferson Police Department assisted with an unruly fan during a sporting event at the Greene County Middle School on Tuesday. At approximately 5:03 p.m., an officer was patrolling the area and heard screaming coming from a location near the school on West Harrison Street. The officer spoke with school officials at the event and learned they had been having a problem with a disruptive fan at the game. The subject had left the premises, but school officials made a request that the officer contact the man and advise him he was no longer welcome on the school grounds.
