The Templeton, Dedham and Halbur Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle fire Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 4:27 p.m., the departments responded to the 28000 block of Kittyhawk Avenue, about 2.5 miles northeast of Templeton, on reports of a vehicle fire that then set a nearby cornfield burning. Carroll Broadcasting has contacted Templeton Fire Chief, Jim Bruggeman, about this incident and we will bring you details as soon as the official information is released.
