The Carroll Public Library has release the schedule for their popular Summer Reading Program. The first event in the line-up includes a visit from Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo on June 12 with an educational program about animal sounds. On June 19, Will Stuck, a professional storyteller, will spin tales for the kids in a manner that encourages an interest in reading and learning. Chad Elliot, an award-winning musician, will perform for the library’s youngest patrons June 26. The first entertainer in July is Drum Safari, a group that uses drumming and dancing to entertain and educate. The final Summer Reading Program event will feature Macaroni Soup!, a singing duo that specializes in music for children. All programs will be presented twice on each date and are held at the Carroll Rec Center. The full schedule of presenters, dates and times can be found included below.
