The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports two area residents were taken into custody last week in separate incidents. On Friday, March 9, deputies arrested 53-year-old Donald Duane Worth, of Early. He is accused of assault on persons in certain occupations, an aggravated misdemeanor, and public intoxication and disorderly conduct, both simple misdemeanors. He was transported to the Cass County jail and released the following day on his own recognizance. On Saturday, March 10, 35-year-old Steven Michael Scott Beck, of Carroll, was arrested on an outstanding District Court warrant for failure to appear on a third-offense public intoxication charge. He remains in custody at the Cass County jail on a $2,000 bond.
