The Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Committee is hosting a design workshop next week in Glidden. Residents will have the opportunity to give their input on transportation needs within the community and methods to improve them. On Tuesday, May 15, a design team will be available for the public to assist in creating a conceptual plan from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Kruger Shelter House to address data collected at roundtables earlier this year. Following this initial design process, the preliminary plans will be on display for the public’s viewing until 7 p.m. People interested in contributing to the project are invited to attend. This program is sponsored through the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) in partnership with Iowa State University (ISU) Extension Landscape Architecture and Trees Forever.
