One person was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries from an accident in Dedham Wednesday . At approximately 9:54 a.m., the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene at 4th Avenue and 4th Street. Upon arrival, they learned that a 1992 Ford F-150, driven by 47-year-old Leeroy George Wagner of Bayard, was traveling northbound on 4th Avenue. Wagner did not have any traffic control device on his roadway, but there was a yield sign posted for traffic on 4th Street. As Wagner was going through the intersection, a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 76-year-old Theresa Marie Kitt of Dedham, was eastbound on 4th Street. Kitt yielded at the sign, but says she did not see the Wagner vehicle, and entered the intersection, striking the driver’s side of the truck. Each driver sustained non-incapacitating injuries, but neither was transported for treatment. A passenger in the Wagner truck, 52-year-old Sheri Wagner, was taken to St. Anthony by Carroll County Emergency Services for treatment of injuries. There was an estimated $3,000 in damage to the Wagner Ford and $6,000 to the Kitt Equinox. Kitt was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
