A special concert will be taking place Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Mahaney Memorial Carillon Tower in downtown Jefferson. Renowned Iowa State University Carillonneur, Dr. Tin-Shi Tam, will be joined by five Iowa State University students for the performance at 11 a.m. Attendees can spread out on the lawn of the Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County for the concert and a light lunch. The concert is being presented by the Bell Tower Community Foundation and the Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County. Attendees are asked to provide their own lawn chair for the concert.
