The Jefferson Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department executed two search warrants at two separate locations on Wednesday. At approximately 11:44 a.m., the first warrant was executed in the 100 block of Ram drive. Authorities searched a student and their locker, and seized items from the student that are believed to be narcotics. The second warrant was for a residence in the 300 block of North Pinet Street. Counterfeit money and suspected narcotics were seized from the home. Charges are pending the completion of the investigation, but during the Pinet Street search, 19-year-old Kyle Dean Rysavy of Jefferson was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor.
