A 13 year-old is facing assault charges after brandishing a knife and displaying a BB gun late last week. The Carroll Police Department reports that they responded to a call at the CitiCentre Plaza, outside the 712 Central Church youth group center at approximately 10:19 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31. The initial investigation revealed that a 13-year-old male had displayed a BB gun pistol and a pocket knife to a group of individuals, then held/pointed the knife in the head area of one of the individuals. The male was taken into custody and charged with assault and subsequently turned over to the juvenile courts.
