February seems like it is a long way off, but registration for Carroll’s premiere basketball tournament, Hoop It Up, is open. Sponsored by the Carroll Chamber of Commerce, the tourney is a popular choice for teams from around the state. Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, says they are starting to see teams sign up, with six committed so far, and she encourages those interested to get registered as soon as possible.
Landauer says it only takes a few minutes to fill out the entry forms for this 13th annual event.
The Feb. 23 and 24 competition is a great way to showcase what Carroll has to offer to the hundreds of people it brings into the community. Games will be played at: Adams Elementary, Carroll and Kuemper High Schools, the Carroll Middle School, the Carroll Rec Center, Fairview Elementary, Holy Spirit and St. Lawrence Catholic Schools.
