Two Carroll Men Arrested On Unrelated Theft Charges

Two Carroll men have been arrested for stealing in separate incidents. On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Carroll Police Department received a report from the local Walmart about the attempted theft of a sizeable amount. At approximately 2:39 p.m., an officer responded and arrested 24-year-old Joshua Black and charged him with fourth-degree theft. Black allegedly shoplifted a total of five items valued at more than $200 total. Then at approximately 5:40 p.m., the department arrested 24-year-old Marshawn Shaw on third-degree burglary charges. This followed an investigation into reports of thefts from motor vehicles that took place on Friday, Oct. 26. Shaw allegedly entered the vehicles and removed items during the overnight hours.
