In an unusual incident, a driver reports some serious damage done to a vehicle from frozen mud on the roadway. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded at approximately 5:16 a.m. to 290th Street, near C Avenue southwest of Scranton, to investigate. Fifty-nine-year-old Marvin Krieger of Coon Rapids told the deputy he had struck a very large piece of frozen mud that caused about $1,000 in damage to his Toyota Corolla.
