Four individuals were taken into custody Wednesday evening following an investigation into the report of a shoplifting incident at the Carroll Walmart. The Carroll Police Department identified the suspects as 18-year-old Jeremiah Angandja, 19-year-old Devon Lentz, a 17-year-old juvenile male and 16-year-old juvenile female, all of Carroll. The individuals were arrested at approximately 5:14 p.m. at a residence in the 1000 block of Simon Avenue. All four have been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor, and the 16-year-old female was also charged with fifth-degree theft, a simple misdemeanor. Angandja and Lentz were transported to the Carroll County jail, and the juveniles were released into the custody of a guardian.
