Sac County Conservation is excited to host an event that fulfills the second element required in completion of Iowa’s hunter education training. A field day has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. beginning at the conservation building at Hagge Park near Sac City. Attendees are required to have completed the “classroom” element online prior to attending and a printed completion voucher must be brought with on field day. Hunters must be 11 years old by the Oct. 19 training to be accepted into the course. Registration is required and can be done through the link included below. Since this training is state mandated, anyone with questions or in need of more information is asked to contact Conservation Officer Kirby Bragg. Details on how to do so can also be found here.
