The Carroll County Compensation Board is made up of area residents who represent the elected officials of the county. They meet each year to determine the rate of salary increases for the upcoming fiscal year. This group will meet again next week, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 in the supervisor’s board room at the Carroll County Courthouse. Following a general discussion they will develop a recommendation to be presented to the Carroll County Board of Supervisors, who will ultimately set the final rate.
