Carroll authorities responded to yet another rear-end collision Thursday. Officers with the Carroll Police Department were called to Grant Road and Lakewood Drive at approximately 3:29 p.m. The initial investigation revealed that 15-year-old Gage Rotert of Carroll was southbound on Grant in a 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis and coming to a stop for traffic. Also southbound was 17-year-old Nicole Wiese of Carroll in a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. Wiese failed to stop and rear-ended the Rotert vehicle. No injuries and only functional damage to the vehicles was reported. Wiese was cited for following too close.
