The Calhoun County Law Enforcement Center reports deteriorating road conditions from a sleet mix were largely responsible for a two-vehicle accident at around 7 a.m. this (Wednesday) morning. No injuries were reported, but both vehicles ended up in the ditch off of Highway 175 near the intersection with Elkland Avenue east of Auburn. Authorities are urging drivers to use caution as precipitation continues to make travel difficult.
