Although the Region XII Council of Governments Regional Housing Authority offices are closed to the general public, they are fully staffed and conducting business. As they work to accept and distribute applications for rental assistance, they are utilizing a drop box located outside their office at 320 E. 7th Street during their regular business hours of 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays. Anyone interested in applying, however, is asked to call 712-792-5560 prior to submitting their applications. Region XII Regional Housing Authority serves Audubon, Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Guthrie, Harrison, Sac and Shelby Counties and part of Ida County. Region XII Regional Housing Authority does not serve the northern part of Ida County.
