The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education is scheduled to meet via technological means Monday, April 27 to develop plans regarding the end of the school year for students, guardians and staff. Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, says the bulk of the meeting will be spent finalizing those details.
Those discussions will cover a variety of different topics. The most pressing issue for school officials is how the class of 2020’s graduation will be handled.
The board will also consider adopting a multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan, renewing sharing agreements with area districts for certain staff and athletic programs and several other minor administrative items. According to Berlau, the last part of the meeting will be reports from Director of Business Affairs, Gary Bengtson.
The public is invited to attend the 5:30 p.m. meeting through Zoom, and instructions on how to join along with the full agenda can be found included beneath this story. Individuals wishing to participate in the public forum are asked to send their comments to Berlau or Bengtson by 4 p.m. on April 27 using their email addresses, which can also be found below.
