Carroll County Treasurer, Jean Seidl, is reminding residents that property tax penalties will go into effect after tomorrow (Wednesday), May 27. She says, as they expected, there are a lot of unpaid property taxes due to Gov. Kim Reynolds’ extension of the due date, but she wants to ensure this does not become an “out-of-sight, out-of-mind” situation for those who may not be aware the deadline is looming. Tax payments must either be made online or postmarked by May 27. A link for online payments and a mailing address can be found included with this story on our website.
