Glidden Grocery is busy prepping to provide some good eats and sweet treats this weekend. On Saturday, May 30, they are hosting two food trucks outside their Idaho Street location starting at 11 a.m. You can come on down or you can call ahead for orders from Barrel Smoke BBQ or Scratch Cupcakes. Barrel Smoke will be serving from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until they run out of an assortment of ribs, pulled pork, pork loin, smoked sausage and more—along with sides. The famous Scratch Cupcake truck will be at the Glidden Grocery from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or until they run out of such decadent flavors as Double Chocolate Cookies and Cream, Loaded Peanut Butter Cup, Red Velvet, Brownie Batter, Oh Happy Day and many, many more. If you are looking to purchase their gluten-free cupcakes, this can only be done by calling ahead. Becca the Balloon Lady will entertain kids while you wait for your food and the folks at Glidden Grocery will be handing out a giant popsicle to all children in attendance.
