For people who are grieving the loss of loved ones, the holidays are not all silver bells and candy canes. They can be long, lonely, and sad.
Some Carroll area churches are again offering a Blue Christmas worship service on December 9 at 4 pm. The service will be at First United Methodist Church in Carroll 1621 N Main St. It will be a time to gather, remember, and grieve.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of your church affiliation or if you have no church. All will be invited to make a memorial ornament before worship and stay for some sweet treats after.
The service is organized by The United Methodist Churches of Carroll, Glidden, Lanesboro, and Lohrville; and The Presbyterian Churches of Glidden and Manning.
