Concert at the Carnegie – Chad Elliott

Join The Carnegie Project for a free-will donation event to save the Rockwell City Carnegie Library!
Bring a chair, your own beverages* and snacks, and enjoy an afternoon of live music for a good cause.

Chad Elliott will provide live music on the front lawn of the Carnegie Library building – thanks to a generous donation from a private individual. Midwest singer-songwriter Chad Elliott blends folk roots, swampy blues and soulful writing to deliver an original Americana sound. His live performances have been honed over a decade of being on the road performing more than 200 shows each year. Elliott is lauded as “Iowa’s Renaissance man” by Culture Buzz Magazine. He has penned more than 1,500 songs in his career while also cultivating his skills as a painter, sculptor, illustrator and author.

Tours of the building will be available during live music breaks. Water and ice cream treats will be available for purchase by free-will donation.

*due to open container laws, please leave alcoholic beverages at home

The Carnegie Project is a non-profit organization formed specifically to own and restore the Carnegie Library in Rockwell City, Iowa. Its mission is to preserve the historic building and to improve and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors of Rockwell City and Calhoun County…echoing the same purpose that led to the construction of the Carnegie Library.
