Carroll County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and the Carroll Public library are hosting a Maker Day in the library. Individuals interested in going will learn about rabbits and explore how animals help their babies survive. Participants will build a model rabbit nest to keep baby bunnies warm and hidden from predators, along with fun STEAM activities. The event is free and open to the public. The workshop is on Tuesday, April 19, and runs all day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information about the event, you can contact Carroll County ISU Extension at 712-792-2364 or the Carroll Public Library at 712-792-3422.
