Motorists traveling through Rockwell City will need to be aware of new stop-signs which will be going up at two different locations next week. At the corner of 9th and Richmond St two new stop signs will be placed on the north and south sides of the intersection. The location is one block from the middle school and many children cross the roadway at the location. By erecting the new set of stop signs officials hope to slow traffic down in order to make it safer for students to cross. Another set of stop signs will be placed at the intersection of 8th and Pleasant Street. There is new construction taking place at the location and the roadway has does dip down. This set of stop signs will pause traffic heading east and west.
