An ongoing investigation by the Carroll Police Department into shoplifting incidents at Walmart has resulted in the arrest of five Carroll residents on eight charges of fifth-degree theft and one of trespassing. These include one count of fifth-degree theft for Nyra Thompson, two counts for 52-year-old Denise Adams, one theft count and the trespassing charge for 27-year-old Sharron Parker, two theft charges against 23-year-old Crystal Murray-Falls and two counts against 26-year-old Sherelle Griggs. All of these women are suspected of shoplifting numerous items from the store over the past several weeks, and more charges are pending.
