Monday marked the first day for Loring Hospital’s new Chief Financial Officer. Stacy Johnson joins the staff at the Sac City hospital after years of experience in banking and with local colleges. Johnson has taught accounting and business classes since 2006, and prior to that, managed and controlled all financial-related activities and audits in the banking industry. She recently decided to sit for her Certified Public Accountant license (CPA), passing several sections, and is currently working to obtain her full license within the year. “Stacy’s strong financial background and diverse experience will be beneficial for Loring Hospital as we continue to navigate the dynamic environment of health care finance,” says Brian Martin, Loring CEO. “We are enthusiastic about her arrival and we look forward to her bringing a high level of leadership and financial skills to our community,” he adds. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Upper Iowa University. She and her husband, Curt, live in Pomeroy and have three children: Dane, Brett and Jenna. They enjoy camping, music and sporting events of any kind.
