Multiple injuries have been reported following a two-vehicle accident in Carroll Monday evening. Initial reports indicate the accident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Highway 30 West after authorities initiated a traffic stop on an SUV with Michigan license plates. After a brief pursuit, the SUV collided with a minivan, which was also traveling on Highway 30. The SUV overturned following the crash, coming to rest on its top in the eastbound lanes. The minivan came to rest facing eastbound in the westbound lanes. Both drivers and two passengers in the van were transported for treatment of unspecified injuries. Authorities have not released the names of the individuals involved. The Carroll Police and Fire Departments, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Carroll County Emergency Medical Services all responded to the scene.
