Carroll Supervisors Will Receive Update From CADC And Hold Another Closed Session Monday

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will convene their regular Monday morning meeting at 9 a.m. on May 11. These are still being held in consideration of social distancing and will be streamed live on the county’s YouTube channel. An update from Carroll Area Development Corporation (CADC) Director, Shannon Landauer, was initially on last week’s agenda, but a scheduling conflict necessitated it be moved to next Monday. Other business the supervisors will discuss includes: a utility permit, payables and plats, a resolution on the division of the North Raccoon River Watershed, issuance of a credit card, interfund transfers and a closed session. Just as at last week’s meeting, the closed session is being called in accordance with Iowa Code Section 21.5(i) “To evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session.” Questions or comments on agenda items can be submitted prior to the meeting at supervisors@carrollcountyiowa.org. During the meeting, questions and comments can be made by creating a YouTube account and subscribing to the county’s YouTube channel, a link to which can be found below.
