A Lake View woman told Iowa Lottery officials that she had not gotten really excited about a $30,000 win until she arrived at the regional office in Storm Lake. Seventy-nine-year-old Glenda Schade started her celebration on Monday when she claimed her prize from the Iowa Lottery’s Bonus Crossword scratch game. Schade said she initially thought she had won $3,000 on the ticket she purchased at Sparky’s One Stop in Lake View. But then, she re-counted her words and found another, bringing her to the top dollar prize amount for that game. Schade says she plans on sharing her winnings with her son and daughter.
